I don't understand why Harvard doesn't just say, "Here are 100 legacy spots and the minimum requirements. Start your bidding." This is about 5% of the incoming class. This would rightsize the cost of a legacy admission. It's too low right now.

Agreed that the issue is the quota system for Asian Americans, not affirmative action. But what was the best legal tool for bringing this up and forcing Harvard to reveal their private documents?
