@Vermont thought you guys were libs -
I guess most are. But only takes a few rat turds to ruin a nice bowl of corn flakes.
-
Honestly racism knows no political affiliation. The political directions are like a circle with the moderates up top and all the crazies down at the bottom right close together, just different justifications for their dumb beliefs.
-
Unconscious bias knows no political bounds, sure, but white supremacists are 99.99% Republicans/conservatives.

This is unacceptable. Democrat or Republican, she’s a human being with a family. In every crowd, there will be duds who treat people badly. It’s not identity politics—it’s just bad individuals lacking morals.

Vermont is liberal, but
@TheDemocrats have okayed this type of behavior. Civility is out the window according to@HillaryClinton and@BernieSanders -
There is a distinct difference between breaking/entering into someone’s home to commit violence and angrily confronting your senator in a public place.
-
How about shooting them in a public space? Distinct difference there too?

This is just maddening. The authorities could have done more which says a lot of things right there. Hopefully she and her family can find a more supportive enviroment for her to serve. Shame on you Vermont.

Now, was it ACTUALLY white supremacists, or just a bunch of guys who disagree and happen to be white? Libs can't seem to tell the difference at this point :/
-
They invaded her home while her family was there and repeatedly left racist graffiti. If that’s simply a matter of disagreement to you, then you engage the world with a violent eye.
-
That is a LOT of assumptions being made in one tweet, okay then ._.' I don't view the world with a violent eye. If I did, I would attack people for simply disagreeing with me... Or you know, ANTIFA... My tweet was a rhetorical question...
-
To clarify, you asked ‘are we sure they’re racists or just dissenters?’ I said “They invaded her home, left racist signs,” suggesting they were not mere dissenters but violent racists. My point being if those actions spell civil dissent to you, then violence must be normalized.
-
I think you're just making it harder than it actually is cause MY point was COMPLETELY different from that. AND rhetorical. MY point was that people throw out the term "white supremacists" for everything. Even for just a simple different opinion. I wasn't discrediting this story
-
Ok. But in the context of the story, where the legislator blames white supremacists for targeting her, and this blame is based on the racist messages they left, that rhetorical point is out of place.
-
Look, I didn't even read it. I just saw a retweet from Ben Shapiro then the word "White Supremacist" and just felt like making a rhetorical point... I didn't expect a response lol.
-
That’s weird. I was reading comments on Noah Smith’s retweet. (As an aside, reading is good).
