URGENT CALL TO ACTION!
Two of our fiercest folks are being prosecuted for activism!
1. Call the City Attorney and tell her to “Drop the charges against Ms. Italy and Ricci Sergienko.”
2. Pack the court on Wednesday 8:30AM - 210 W. Temple, Floor 7, Dept 45. Press conference at 8.
The city has escalated its efforts to try and suppress our voices from being heard. The Council, LAPD, and the city attorney's office have doubled down on their commitment to resume the violent business of this city. Join us as we continue to fight back against business as usual.
The LAPD has rapidly been growing its social media surveillance arsenal, targeting the same communities they have always targeted for criminalization, surveillance and violence. Join us TUE 11/15 @ 6PM, in-person at LA CAN to learn more!

🚨THREAD: LOS ANGELES CITY ATTORNEY RACE 🚨
For those who haven't filled out their ballots yet - here's a quick thread breaking down why you should vote for Faisal Gill over
Shocking no one - City Attorney candidate @ElectHydee is a landlord! She currently owns 3 properties. A property owned by Hydee was subject to multiple code violations in May ‘19.
Hydee is endorsed by the real estate lobby… Its clear who she will represent if elected!
I'm on 3rd & Hampton in Venice. There is comprehensive cleaning on Hampton. Items are needed for our family. It's getting cold at night & they're in need of blankets, jackets, dog beds, bed sheets, all sizes of clothing. Drop off on 3rd to Garry & Spike
Actually this is dead wrong. Polling that does exist suggests that Angelenos oppose criminalization because it’s a failed strategy. Being concerned about homeless does not = supporting failed policies that simply sweep the issue under the rug.
I can’t find any polling on 41.18 but what does exist (homelessness as top issue to voters) suggests that many angelenos likely support the measure - which is why neither Caruso or Bass will come out strongly opposed to it.
