My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

Most here will not look at the fact that Boudins father is 76 YO & has shown a good track record of remorse & redemption while spending 40 years in prison. He also did not personally kill anyone, he was in a transfer vehicle. People age out of crime & can change.

Justice is also not served through retaliation and retribution. Justice can only be reached through reconciliation, restoration and learning to love and forgive.
