My swollen finger still hasn't been diagnosed btw. It's not broken or torn and the blood values are looking perfect. The Doc basically just told me to wait for it to disappear on it's own lol

Something similar happened to me once. I just for gloves to both reduse the pressure from pressing buttons all the time and to keep at least a little bit of pressure on it. Huge pain relief TBH. not sure if it helps in restoring the finger.
