Mmm, hate to say it but a lot of this does seem to be speculation. Your details are hazy, you don’t name any sources, and the use of “I” in this story makes this seem very much opinionated. “Report” is misleading to your audience. This is a rumor piece.

The author says that based on the sources they believe it's Scalebound coinciding with what the Game Informer editor said and the trademark being abandoned which all sounds like speculation.

That section of the article is speculation and the author made that clear, in my opinion. That doesn’t take away from the main rumor at the beginning.
