If this wasn't a Nintendo game, this decision wouldn't have been made. That's why I love Nintendo games, they strive for quality and always deliver. Bringing in Retro Studios is a fantastic idea and I have no doubt that the game will be excellent when it comes out.

#Nintendo. A lot of companies would have pushed ahead with a release to capture $$$, even if that meant an inferior final product. Side note: could we get some sort of quality check for third-party eshop games? Some of those are just terrible. Thx! -

I can totally understand! I'm not the biggest metroid fan but I think anyone would be able to see how difficult of a decision this must have been. Do what you think is right! :)
