We also want to restate that, as we announced in July, we have no plans for any new model other than Nintendo Switch – OLED Model, which will launch on October 8, 2021. (2/2)

They probably already have their mind "made up" to still do it, but hopefully people understand they can't exactly say "yeah we intend to do it, but we can't with supply issues right now, so just hold off on investing or buying our products till you get the one thing you want" 😅
