But you’ll get all these games on Switch in September with added online functionality
-
We’re still getting retro games on the eShop. It’s not going to be called “Virtual Console” anymore That’s literally it lol
-
There is no word on any classic Nintendo games coming to the eShop besides the Arcade Archives series and nothing Nintendo has said suggests more than that will. The only Nin system we even know is getting games playable on the Switch is NES, and only thru the online membership.

If only you had a modern system that could play all the classic games.

Let me introduce you to the Wii U
-
I said modern. I liked the Wii u but it's dead.
-
what's that you tell me? Dead you say? Yeah, the Wii U Is dead. Yeah, no virtual console on switch. But for me personally, that's meant playing more nindies, which are great... Idk. You can't win on every front, and I think that compromising the virtual console for eshop... -
Was the right call. The classic games are always gonna be there- the Wii u and 3ds have active storefronts. I think it's a matter of opinion but I can wait on VC, even if it ends up being just the subscription.
