Owner screw that is such a bad idea Nintendo making people pay for online gaming

boy its 20$ a year
-
No joke it's a steal at that price
-
Rumor has it that it's free on PC, and that PC even has native voice chat!
-
hmu when I can officially play Splatoon 2, MK8D, and Smash Switch on a PC. No, emulators don't count.
-
So you will be paying an online subscription to play 4 games? Tfw when Nintendo fans are too intelligent.
-
Can you screenshot where I said those were the only games I expect to play online? Because, I don't know if I'm just crazy, but I really can't recall saying that. How odd.
-
Tell me about the dozens of games you will play online then. You know the service is only 20$ because Nintendo is aware that there aren't many games that will take advantage of the service right?

free online or better servers. pick one.
-
PC and PS3 games had better servers without me having to pay a dime beyond the initial price of the game. Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony don't even have anything to do with the servers for third party games.
-
PC is PC. And clearly times have changed, hence Sony charging now when they didn't before. $20 a year is nothing, that's like 1/3 of a full price game for an entire year, it's not that big of a loss.
-
"Times have changed" isn't a good excuse. All it proves is that the problem is bigger than it was before. Sony did that because they saw Microsoft getting away with it for a good decade, so Sony could get away with being the lesser of two evils.
-
And being a low price doesn't make it okay when the same thing has been on every other platform besides Xbox and PS4 for free. Third party games aren't even affected by it, but Nintendo is still restricting them for you.
-
My point was Nintendo will use the funds to make as better service than what they could do before. Whether you agree with it or not it's how Nintendo chose to do it. They could have matched the prices of the other companies but they made it cheap, and that's great imo.
-
People said that about Microsoft and Sony. Microsoft used P2P servers for all their games up until the Xbone, Sony had dedicated servers since the PS3 when they WEREN'T charging for online, and neither one seems to be on the same level as what you get on PC.

CLOUD SAVES

I’m slow forgive me but what does that mean? It means like when you log into another switch you’re data will be on that other switch?
-
Basically if your switch gets replaced your game saves are recovered so you dont have to play through again this was a big problem before
-
