I'm glad this is a thing now, but the points expiring after a year pretty much kills it.

People complaints plenty about Club Nintendo too, don't act like you don't remember.
-
Nobody's saying that Club Nintendo was perfect. But it sure as hell was better.

Yay, spend $200 worth of video games to get $1.16. Guess Nintendo was bound to eventually make a mistake
-
They don't have to give you anything
-
they don't HAVE to sure, but if they're going to, at least make it not an insultingly small amount. this is a system that doesn't even reward heavy game buyers that much.
-
I almost feel like this is a push to sell up Indies.
-
yeah i feel that, but it is still a pretty steep grade to hit that end goal

Thanks for trashing early adopters, again. Glad to see my digital purchases of Splatoon 2, SMO, MK8D, ARMS etc got me a whopping $2.92
-
Equally annoying most of my gold points are going to expire before I actually have enough of them to use. Why are my points expiring at all!
-
I just want Club Nintendo back tbh.
-
I'll second that.
-
Yeah because typing in those codes was so much fun
-
Yet you managed to type that out just fine.

Please retroactively update the coin amounts! Early adopters who saved up coins got 1/5 the coins that they would get now. I've bought 25 Switch games and only have 306 gold coins
-
Whatttttttt? Dude I registered 15 games and got 610 points

-
I bought a lot of physical :P got a whole 12 coins for each game!
-
Right.. 12 cents for buying a 60 dollar game lol
