People that balatantly hate on the labo don't realize Nintendo's intent. Nintendo wants to get young kids to develop some thinking skills and build things on their own while also playing video games. I think this is great.
-
Agreed! A problem I see is how many kids will break it because a lot of kids nowadays don’t value their things enough to take care of them. Smh
-
I think that's how Labo is different. They build a valuable connection with their creation when they see what it allows them to do on screen. Not all kids are tide pod eating mongoloids.
-
Hey good point and hopefully! Maybe when they take the time to create it and build it they’ll appreciate it more and be gentler.
-
I agree with what you are saying but I personally think the price is way too high.I think it is worth 10 to 20 dollars
-
That’s like the price of a meal at a restaurant. This is a video game with real life parts that go with it. Remember Amiibo’s were roughly $15?
-
I think people are forgetting that inflation is a thing. Technically, AAA games should cost 80-90 dollars. By the old AAA=60 bucks standard, then this would be a 45 buck thingy.
-
So you’re saying that when games used to cost $60 something like this would usually be around $45? I think so. So if a AAA game is about $85 now, then labo should be around $65 today. 1.3333333% cheaper than today’s AAA games?

I don’t get why people are hating on this? It’s just a game/kit. Don’t buy it if you’re not into it. This games main advertising demographic is aimed towards children. Relax, we were given Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey before this anyway.
-
Because they feel that they are the (maybe only) target of Nintendo Like they never put a hand on the Wii to glaze how wrong they are
-
I personally think Nintendo does a great job of including people of all ages and skill levels. Smash 4 has lots of options for casual and competitive play. Mario Odyssey has endless routes and ways to explore their maps including simple paths or very skilled trick jump-like paths
-
To name a few. And isn’t Bayonetta 3 coming soon?
-
Plus I think more complex and “adult” games might take way longer to develop and create. Who knows what’s coming!
