That was literally the most disappointing direct ever. Pretty much all Wii U ports/ just ports in general. Talk about over hyping ourselves. Won’t be doing that again.pic.twitter.com/mtwRy1soHh

What the heck did you expect? All new games? Are ports no longer allowed to be a thing?

I expected more than ONE new game announcement from Nintendo that isn’t a port. And that one game we got was MARIO TENNIS of all things. Dude come on how is that not disappointing. January directs are usually big ones.

If you want all new game announcements, wait til e3 my dude, otherwise be greatful a direct happened since its been months.

Nintendo doesn’t tend to go big during e3 anymore. They tend focus on directs instead to announce things. That may change but who knows really.

Why are they going to announce everything at one shot, especially since its January? Nintendo tends to spread reveals throughout the year

I had low expectations for the direct. Nintendo brought on more 3rd party support, made sure that some of the original 3rd party support was still around, and brought back some really good games. Tbh it blew away my expectations

Am I the only one a little let down here? Mini Direct? You dragged us along all this time for a MINI direct?! Why be so secretive if it's not even a full length direct?!

To be fair, they didn't do anything, everyone beforehand was expecting some huge direct "including me" and it didn't come to fruition. That is our fault. Yes Nintendon was egging us on with cryptic tweets but you gotta admit it that was kinda fun haha!

For a Mini Direct, it was surprisingly.. meaty.. Though it didn't have heavy hitters, YS VIII for the Switch? Now that I didn't see. I don't think Falcom was ever on a Nintendo platform? And some cool Wii U ports like DK: TF people now get the chance to play that :).

Not gonna lie, that Chibi Robo picture had me excited for a chibi Robo game rather then what was actually announced. Poor Chibi
