It's pretty remarkable to see how the Switch managed to sell almost as many units in 9 months as the Wii U did in its entire lifespan. It really shows how much of a difference a fresh concept and an effective advertising campaign can have.

the Wii U took a whopping long 5 YEARS to get to 10 million, while Xbox One and PS4 did that on their first year Wii U didn’t get a lot of attention to the world, but the Switch was a major comeback for Nintendo
