Rising Moon was the winner of a 6 month long European league organised by nintendo which culminated in a tournament back in march.
-
The US team was decided via a qualifying tournament that any US squad could enterhttp://www.nintendolife.com/news/2017/03/the_splatoon_u_s_inkling_open_has_a_trip_to_e3_up_for_grabs …

Oh k thx :D
-
no problem, sorry I can't be of help for the Japanese or Australian teams :-/
-
Although I suspect the Japanese team may have been the winner of the latest splatoon koshien tournament, which is quite big over there...
-
Dynameu won the Koshien. Watched a bit of the last battle in person and it was intense... Large tournament, takes place in different regions

That's a third party solution. Let's wait for Nintendo to show their cards on this.
-
The Nintendo solution is more than likely this or nothing at all. Hori has been making many accessories for Nintendo for quite a while.

Still though, needing a mixer along with a headset sends the message that the Switch does not have native voice chat features.
-
Problem is, that would come at the sacrifice of battery. They'd have to make it abundantly clear to everyone that voice chat drains quicker.
-
I appreciate you putting a lot of thought into this, but really it's just Nintendo's incompetence with online again.
-
I was just thinking through a solution. To be honest even if the consolesuppoted it natively I'd likely still use my iPad lol.
