"Become a Champion with 2 game 1 set only match ups!"
-
Why is that a problem? This isn't real life where body endurance is a factor. If the match is fair, there's a tiebreaker for that. If the match is unfair, do you really want it to go on for 5 sets? Everyone would ragequit.
-
It’s a problem for some people because it isn’t realistic. Just because you have fun with how it is dosen’t mean everyone does. Some people want to play an ACTUAL game of tennis.
-
But this is Mario Tennis, not Real Tennis. You can slow-mo, your racket can break, and you can play as a turtle. So why can't it have its own rules for match length too? Matches last longer irl because it's an endurance challenge. eg: Male matches last 5 sets, female ones last 2.
-
Did that stop the game having options like its predecessors? An increasingly disappearing feature with each new Nintendo release?
-
I'm just challenging why you feel that that feature is so important. Like, let's say you're adamant about this and you're playing against someone who also only wants to do 5 sets. Can't you just play a few matches in a row and count them as one match? Like, best of 5 matches?
-
To me, it’s not essential, I just think it would be nice to have for the people who think it is essential. Again, I lovemaking this game the way it is, I just think would be nice to have, I can’t really explain why.
