Sorry for the confusion about the viewer confusion (sigh) – the goal behind this change is to help ppl find the official channel of a creator (since the old badge only verified that you had >100k subs, but didn’t verify a channel’s authenticity). This update improves that.

Congrats YouTube for deleting the only thing that could detect imitation accounts. Also nice youtuber apology sigh there. The only people who are confused here are your incompetent staff because you don’t understand how this negatively affects people in the slightest
