From the highbrow contemporary fiction, to the most popular sitcoms, the public speech in contemporary Russia is not only at its all-time freest, but undoubtedly more open to diverse opinions than in the West, where it deteriorates into an unending virtue-signaling contest.

PS & the same goes for the pluralism of values in political life. In Russia, there are political parties and candidates whose pro-Western enthusiasm reaches cartoonish levels. In the political West, hardly a decibel of Russophobia can be questioned.

So apparently your dip shit husband hasn’t explained that social media is a private business that is allowed to run the way they would like. Your boy Putin is in charge of govt which is the voice of the people and I’d rather be banned from a website than murdered.

I was banned in facebook for a month, just because I said catholics are not obliged to respect ramadan. Mark Zakirberg banned me. Does not surprise me at all, they do what they want, they are the best example of lack of respect for freedom of speech.
