Mozambique is 2nd only to Madagascar for storm impacts on the continent, but suffers far more floods. Cyclone Idai has now made landfall in Mozambique.
Parts of Zimbabwe and Mozambique are set have up to 900mm of rain in the next week or so. To put that into perspective, London receives about 520 mm a YEAR!
