Instead of calling on its own people to abide by preventative healthcare measures against the spread of the #pandemic, the #Azerbaijani leadership issues war threats, as if the #AntiArmenian rhetoric is the best remedy against the coronavirus.
Armenia will use all available international mechanisms to ensure investigation and accountability. Such acts of violence should be addressed properly, with consequences for the aggressor.

Withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops and deployment of an international observer mission on the territories affected by occupation and bordering areas is an absolute necessity.
This is already the second time when refuses to fulfill its promise to release Armenian POWs. The first case was in May, when a promise was made in Brussels, and the second time is now, when in Washington Azerbaijan committed to release 17 Armenian POWs until 9/30.
Today we pay tribute to 1.5 million martyrs, victims of the Ottoman Empire’s criminal policies during WWI. The ideologies that led to the Armenian Genocide are still alive today, as demonstrated by the atrocities committed against the Armenians of Artsakh during the recent war.
US Senate Resolution 150 is a victory of justice and truth. On behalf of the #Armenia’n people worldwide, I express our profound appreciation to the Senate for this landmark legislation.
