Also, the “good” vs “bad” protestor trope is a false dichotomy. It is intended to distract us from the real issue: violent police and police brutality. It is (mass) victim blaming and gaslighting.

"Bad protestors" are anarchists, agitators and provocateurs who take advantage of other peoples' genuine grievances. They infiltrate every street movement, with few exceptions. Typically, the day starts peacefully and by midnight all hell breaks loose. WTO was a prime example.

Partially agree with your statement, must have used violent police vs peace loving police. Looking for opportunity to blame everytime is actually bringing hatred to peace loving hearts and also violent is getting stronger than earlier.

This is not a false dichotomy, and that’s not a trope. It’s an entirely separate issue. There are good and bad protestors and the cops are massively overreacting. This tweet isn’t even a fallacy it’s just...... a cult member appealing to their tribe.
