Today is the LAST DAY to vote in this year’s general election! Make sure to get your ballot to a ballot box or the post office before 8pm tonight. Since it must be postmarked today, we don’t recommend using your home mailbox this close to the deadline. 🧡🗳 HAPPY VOTING 🗳🧡

Again, DIRECT voter engagement is the most effective. Send a text to your groupchats, call your family members, flood social media. Especially targeting Gen Z and millennials. Our turnout is even worse than the overall turnout. More info on ballot boxes & in-person voting below

If they ask where they can drop off their ballots, send them this: kingcounty.gov/depts/election If they ask where they can register and vote in-person, send them this list of their closest voting centers, where they can vote all the way until tomorrow at 8pm: kingcounty.gov/depts/election

If you haven't voted, there's still time. In Washington you can go online and print a replacement ballot if you lost the one that was sent to you!

Saw a handful of @Nikkita4Nine volunteers asking everyone who entered U District Station is they had voted yet. They had a computer and a damn printer set up to help people print a replacement ballot from the King County website if they lost theirs. Such an impressive campaign.

Our last canvass this year! 🥲 Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who have been so generous with your time & energy. We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️ Seattle: ~24 hours left to bring your ballot to a drop box. Vote to elect Nikkita to City Council, Position 9! 🗳
A group of about 9 volunteers for the Nikkita Oliver campaign pose for a group photo at MLK Memorial Park in the Mount Baker neighborhood of Seattle. All are wearing face masks and holding campaign yard signs.

If you’re retweeting this, please also do my other ask which is to send mass text messages and make a few phone calls to your friends & family. I’ve been doing that and a lot of people are surprised to learn the deadline is tomorrow. PLEASE don’t scroll past without doing this!
Quote Tweet
As of today, the day before our local elections, we have 19.7% voter turnout. That number is much, much lower for Gen Z and fellow millennials. If you’re reading this, please don’t scroll past. Take 5 mins to mass text and call your friends to remind them to vote by tomorrow!

Most non-politicos wouldn’t know this, but it’s a very good tip. You can also go to voting centers to vote or even same-day register and vote. You’ve got options!

A lot of normal people don't actually know that you can print and replace your ballot if it doesn't come (or, in the case of my friend, is literally eaten by your dog). Sending out this info has added at least 3 votes to my friend circle, so share away! kingcounty.gov/depts/election

I guarantee we know at least 3 people in our lives who haven’t voted in tomorrows Seattle’s election yet. Are we committed to getting those 3 friends/family/co-workers/neighbor’s ballots in the ballot box by tomorrow night? I promise you it’ll make or break the election.
