Nevis sophomore Carol Keezer's mission is to share the language with others. To help, she created a coloring book to allow elementary students learn the Ojibwe names for animals. Way to go Carol!

Hearing Anishinaabemowin spoken in this episode is giving me life amongst all the death. 🙌🏽 We could really use a lot more Indigenous languages on TV and in movies. 👏🏽 ⁣⁣⁣

My grandfather is the last first language speaker of Anishinaabemowin in our family; I am the last generation of our family to grow up hearing it spoken as a first language in our home having been raised by my grandparents.

Related to my previous tweet, I want to give a shout out and a chi-miigwe(t)ch to the incredible artist , who did all 150 drawings for the study. It was a huge undertaking, but it was a pleasure to work with him. The drawings have been a huge hit!
