Isn't it senpai (n instead of m) in rōmaji? Or is it because of the Kanjis in Nr. 2 "戦敗"? I don't know these yet...

Personally prefer using ‘m’, as the rōmaji is just for the benefit of those who can’t read the hiragana...and that’s how ん is pronounced before ‘b’ and ‘p’ sounds.

Other common examples: しんぶん ‘newspaper’ and さんぽ ‘a walk’, pronounced ‘shimbun’ and ‘sampo’ respectively
