    The E.U. is going all in on heat pumps to cut gas demand. CA should do the same — starting w/ $1B for heat pumps upgrades in low income households & $1B for community building upgrades. Transitioning homes to clean energy has never been so urgent.

    SoCalGas unlawfully used customer money to fight climate action. If fines SoCalGas $150k for "a deliberate and years-long pattern of conduct," the token fine will allow SoCalGas to justify malfeasance as part of its cost of doing business.

    Not a peep when Gorsuch (Harvard) and Kavanaugh (Yale) were nominated, but suddenly it’s an issue now? Wonder what’s different this time!

    I expect a respectful but interesting hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The Harvard-Yale train to the Supreme Court continues to run unabated.

    Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat can keep Louis DeJoy from screwing up the . While we fight climate change, Louis DeJoy ignores greener alternatives, like electric vehicles, for the new fleet of postal service delivery vehicles. Instead, he chose more gas-guzzling trucks.

    Incredible news out of the nation’s second largest city

    LA’s buildings account for 43% of our carbon emissions – more than any other sector. Today, my colleagues and I introduced a motion to require all new residential and commercial buildings in LA to be built to achieve zero-carbon emissions, a critical move toward a green economy.
