That's the issue. Everything YouTube has been testing so far has not helped YouTubers. It was shown that some of their features and rules don't even apply to certain people. Even the trending page which "helps" the viral videos is modified to have only certain videos

Those changes may be confusing for creators and may seem wrong, but I assure you they will never do something that hurts their profits, so they will make sure all those features work perfectly for viewers and creators, regardless of their opinions. They see the stats, we don't.

So many if their features are faulty it's a joke at this point. Their demonetization algorithm is horrible for example. I'd recommend watching nerd city's videos on this

Demonetisation is another trade-off. They need to assure advertisers that the content of the videos on the platform respect the rules of YouTube. As they cannot revise every video on YouTube, they need to apply algorithms for that (which may be faulty in some cases, not the

Ah yes I remember when the infamous Logan Paul video was taken down for breaking the guidelines. But not before being manually reviewed, deemed ok for ads and put on trending. I guess humans have glitches too.

Context is very important and maybe the video was not against the rules if a person deemed it like that. You can always report the video and they will revise it all the times you need.

The video was reported. That's why it was manually reviewed. One of the people that reviews videos made it known. The context was showing a dead body which they said was against the TOS after people called them out on it

And... did they not take it down? Did they acknowledge at any point that it was against the rules? Allow me to doubt that if a video is deemed inappropriate by YouTube rules, it is not taken down.

I'm shocked that you don't know about this it was very viral. Google "YouTube is equally to blame for Logan Paul" and read the techchurch vid and see for yourself

Oh, I knew about it. Soz, didn't catch what you meant. It was manually reviewed, it may have been a human error. It can happen and they surely will keep working to improve it because it is on their own interest that that works properly as their main source of many depends on it.

It was not an error the reviewer that leaked that has talked about many other examples like that. They only care about the big brands now and punisher smaller channels even if the brand breaks TOS and the small channel doesn't. There are tons of examples online.

That is only negative to them, because advertisers won't want to be advertised in video that contents that kind of videos, so for their own interests they will make their rules be respected.
