Day 13 of Covid and I’m allowing myself to draw for 3-4 hours at which I’m light headed and woozy. Can’t imagine if I were still a professor. On the bright side, I’ve discovered this show called Dr Who. I’m only 11 eps in, but it’s pretty good.

In 1995 I met Frank Drake at Carl Sagan’s 60th birthday. He was a lovely guy who was delighted to sign this back of the envelope I’d written his equation on. I’d copied it from Carl’s book Cosmos. He said, “Oh, this is wrong,” then rewrote it & signed it.
