It still amazes me how so many remoaners don't see that the EU is failing. Italexit coming up?

Exactly. You reap what you sow.
-
Should the M5s and the Lega ever join, one voter out of two in Italy, although for different reasons, go to technocrats and pretend to be listened to. Unfortunately, chances are the President will favor an Inciucio again ( centre right + centre left ) just to avoid EU panicking
-
If our president wants stability for Italy he MUST favor a M5S + Lega agreement which would be easier to manage and stronger abroad conversely if he only wants to be a Bruxelles Yes man... Inciucio!

Wish Nigel was the PM of the UK! Go Nigel!!
#MAGA is pulling for you. -
He’d have to win an election first.
-
I know, that’s just wishful thinking on my part. But I do like what he has to say.
-
He says whatever he’s paid the most to say. He doesn’t have a side. He doesn’t have beliefs, he’ll speak for whoever will offer him enough incentive to do so. There are sh many better choices of human to admire.

Basically the Italian election is taking place now and a sort of Italian version of UKIP are going to form a coalition with another party a bit like UKIP (both right wing) and form a government.. One party strongly anti EU the other were anti EU but not clear now.

Nationalism has returned. This much is clear. However this isn't a clear victory for Italy's people. Their economy is trashed and immigration is wreaking havoc. Five Star have no government experience to solve that. Appealing non establishment sentiment but pragmatically foolish.
-
1st being anti EU doesn't mean being nationalist. 2ndly way better to have non experienced politicians governing rather than old, corrupted professional politicians. 3rd it's fucking democracy, like it or not that's the way it work.
-
I don't particularly care what Italy does with it's democracy, it was a passing comment. Good day to you.

Cheers
