    a lot of their journalism is actually from local newspaper websites but their brand resonance gives them a lot more returning traffic each day because of larger brand salience piggybacking off the television presence

    I just moved from Houston (DMA 7) to much-smaller Corpus Christi (DMA 128) - where the difference is more obvious. "Local" paper is 98% USA Today content with some local stuff covered mostly by freelancers. TV web is the better option, but the coverage isn't what I'm used to :/
