What would those values be? The overarching one I seem to identify is the opposition to abortion. Other than that less fortunate R voters would be well served with better health care, more support programs, etc.

I know folks who say that, but still accept support for themselves when in need. Kind of like TX politicians talking ill about DC, and then being first in line when they need help.
