Fair and correct on point 1–I was just making a summary statement. Re: point 2–as far as I know, masc/fem are operationalized as typical in the western market (trucks, dolls, respectively)

I'd thought difference was between play as representing a baby and play as object manipulation. Modelling of nurture or exercising spatial awareness.

You are not allowed to say there are differences between the sexes unless of course it puts down men in some way. The rules are very complicated but I think I finally have more or less the hang of it.
