Hi, Nicole! Would it be too much to ask you for the name of the articles you taught in your lecture on BG. I’m a psychologist in México with a lot of interest on that subject. Thanks! Btw I’ve read some of your papers are they are great.

Thank you! And I did a ~2hr lecture structured similarly to a portion of a chapter I co-authored (starting on p. 26). Went into details on some of the specific refs. All the papers in the refs list! https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/5e68bc_8de5f89cfd0d40d2ae513dfebbaacb47.pdf …

I'm starting intro social, soph/jr level class, with replication crisis/science reform. Plan to follow up with straight up methods and logical fallacies. Gives me hope that I am not barking up the wrong tree...

It is important not to ignore replication issues. I begin my methodology lectures with a current example of a popularized finding that has not replicated to demonstrate the importance of the scientific method in psych research!

I started doing the same thing in all my courses for the first lecture a couple years ago. Consistently been a good way to start each semester.
