Hey Matt, we’re fine. Sydney in no danger. Conditions eased: cooler weather, chance of rain tonight. Controlled backburns on now. Above data-compiled image is haunting, but not quite accurate. Last time bushfires got close to us was in ‘94 & don’t think it will happen this time.

NASA don’t say any such thing, and it’s not real. It’s a visualisation of some data so not completely fake but makes it look even worse than it is.
