Lobbying and hand-waving about "space colonies" is easy. Real space industry and colonization is hard. Currently unanticipated steps, not centrally planned steps. Also, for a step to be viable it must pay for itself in terms of benefits to the people paying for it (this usually means a profitable business or military security; for very small steps can also be scientific benefits).

Do you genuinely believe that anyone would use bitcoin to build space equipment? Essentially credit allows for creative and destructive environments. Hoarding doesn't spur innovation. I'm a big Joseph Schumpeter believer. Curious your thoughts?
