Proof-of-Work electricity is the cost of decentralized currency. Inflation is the cost of centralized currency. Which is cheaper?
There are many other costs of digital centralized currencies besides risk of inflation. Censorship, for example, which is becoming increasingly common, slowly making digital central currencies less useful as money as time goes on.

It won’t become illegal. It just won’t be tradeable unless it is registered asa security. Probably a small fine to the foundation and some other actors who participated in the Pre sale. It’s not the end of the world. It’s better if it is a security. Better pool of liquidity
