Yes, Bitcoin with its demand-independent production schedule is not as optimal as gold or bit gold in monetary economic terms, but is more trust-minimized since my design adjusted for difficulty using a (likely centralized) market. Gold mining inflates the above ground gold reserves by roughly 1.5% per year. So you consider this advantageous to bitcoins fixed schedule/deflationary properties but only because it's demand dependant. Meaning a fixed inflation rate of 1.5% is still worse than bitcoins design?
