        Since Bitcoin payments are voluntary contractual arrangements, a Bitcoin system falls under Rule of Law as I understand it.

        This is not true. Math is not Law in the Legal Statute or Common Law sense, which is what "Rule of Law" normally refers to. And if anyone were to claim that it falls under Law of Nature, that would be an unacceptable stretch from Rule of Law.
