Ripple is far from trust-minimized. As a result it has high governance costs, including the disputes described here, and poor social scalability.https://twitter.com/BitMEXResearch/status/960686999433703424 …

What is "a trust-minimised public blockchain"?
I had to photograph his notes, I couldn’t keep up with his depth of concepts. And I couldn’t write fast enough to take good notes. Trust minimized....seems antithetical to public blockchain.
Would "minimized" make this an exact antithesis?
I think this dichotomy between the two channels is where in lies the difference in approach but the end results may be more similar and both are necessary to balance each other out.
I don’t disagree but the public doesn’t care about the intricacies. It’s too technical. We need cash flow injection into the economy like Japan.pic.twitter.com/6wI0WsuNI1
I have a question....about social scalability.... the SEC Chairman today talked about Governance.... and Futures.... “that market is for high net worth clients”....the Futures traders can cause price depreciation in a matter of seconds. Doesn’t this affect social scalability?
Im thinking xrp is aiming for enough decentralization vs complete decentralization (which not crypto has btw). As u know decentralization has different levels and layers, its not black and white. Different levels of trust are required for what goals they wish to accomplish.
