It really creeps me out when I get paid with PayPal and I can see the sender's full legal name and address. Payments shouldn't dox people!

Gone is the eye to eye handshake and knowing the person you do business with. Sorry, but there is a social cost and loss here. A lack of engagement. There will be unforeseen consequences technologists and engineers may not have considered. Discuss?
It's not gone, but the eye-to-eye handshake is far less socially scalable than trust-minimized technologies.

Absolutely true! More so when the opportunities to build trust are reduced and/or eliminated through design. I’d like to discuss engagement design. Currently much of it is based primarily on extrinsic reward systems/behaviorism. Doesn’t have to be. New emergent science...
