Technically PoW. More sound than PoS. I had presciently and jokingly hypothesised a long while ago that the inspiration for POW was Satoshi's romantic experiences in the personal domain ;))

PoW is based on competitivity, though. And competitive behavior in loving relationships (either romantic or fraternal) is bad. PoS, as far as I understand, isn't based on competitivity.

Applying PoW in relationships - the sole purpose is to prove irreversible commitment of scarce value. POS may be reversible and is like a rich Arab Sheik expressing an interest in a woman w/o being serious. From woman's PoV, POW is better than POS to assess man's seriousness
