Progress only happens when smart people go against the opinion of the majority. In 1912 Alfred Wegener was treated like a madman when he suggested that the continents are drifting. Reminds me of IOTA and all the hate we see everyday by the "majority" of blockchainers.

What's been underwhelming? Curious because as a new user in the crypto world (3 months now), I've been able to work the wallet, comprehend the goals, and watch the beta tech grow. What stands out as underwhelming vs bch drama, btc fees, xrp, etc.

I don`t get it. Why all the fud against IOTA? There are small issues that have to be solved, but the technology behind IOTA is just impressive. With all the developments and partnerships there will be a hughe impact in the world of IoT.

Greed and jealousy is the explanation. A lot of people have significant stakes (not necessarily ownership) in blockchain technology and they have a lot to loose if the attention switches to IOTA.
