Are you interested in the idea of a p2p internet? If yes and is possible, what's stopping people from working on it?

Check
@hashgraph, there’s a questionable patent on it, but the technology could be the key to enable p2p internet -
By p2p internet, I mean an enormous overlay network minimizing need for IP.

Toda-T a standard being worked with ITU, like the next TCP/IP -> Toda Protocol. Could run on IP but will not need IP once u have it running. It uses distributed computing as its PoW. Capable to scale efficiently and is Decentralized. Btw
@NickSzabo4 already knows of its inception -
Ok, is there a white paper for this?
-
Hashgraph is cool too and could also use Toda-T in conjunction of TCP/IP if the effort continues towards more decentralization and less dependency on centralized network.

Great work Harsh! Kudos to you and team. Checkout the Toda Protocol, especially the Toda-T approach being worked on with ITU as an ITU-T open standard that sits below OS. More like layer zero.

Absolutely agree. Luckily we are on the verge of a decentralization revolution.

We probably won’t see routing significantly decentralize until satellite launch costs come way down. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Great research here, and talk at Stanford, do you think it's feasible to build a decentralised ISP service where users act as ISP nodes and share bandwidth to anyone for a fee?

hyperboria (cjdns), fon, guifi, and a few other attempts... still obscure. we need a meshnet to route around corpnet
