Sure, a split is always possible. I'd probably follow the Core split if I felt my money was safer there. It won't be pretty tho.

Almost all I've seen is tech jargon that is unintelligible to the vast majority of the economic stakeholders. Gotta put it in money terms.
And describe the tech in terms of metaphors that the English major guy in the CEO's office can understand.

Most of the problem seems to be IMO not a lack of counter-arguments or information existing, but it being scattered all over the internet.
