@NickSzabo4 Hardware is the undiscovered country. Is it more secure or is it just more obscure?
@matthew_d_green Generally far more secure. Normal OSs give promiscuous access to unknown apps & aren't designed to handle cash-like money.

@NickSzabo4 It's hard to tell. I've seen some bad hardware implementations. Because, of course, nobody checks. -

@HoboJerk@NickSzabo4 TPM seems to play little role in anything new these days. Maybe secure boot and disk encryption.
