IDs are insecure, local, and labor-intensive. Nakamoto consensus is secure, global, and automated.

@NickSzabo4 +1, but, IDs r unavoidable. Humans like 'em. Nexus points spontaneously arise anyway. If unavoidable, req. best effort security.
@jgarzik IDs >> costs & < security. Bitcoin shows don't need them to issue or pay. TM blockchain will allow us to do much else w/o IDs.
