What the leftists call "law" is to creatively interpret the parts they have enough imagination to make up stories about -- in this case the preamble -- and ignore the rest -- in this case the actual directive of the law.

Neither do I believe the preamble calls for the federal govt to direct this well regulated militia. Logic resists it. The stronger reading is as an ideal for the armed citizenry to achieve
