It takes some time to understand why formalized governance would cause massive issues for Bitcoin. The more chaos the better becusee chaos increases the antifragility of the system.

I haven't gotten flack from Dash folks. The idea of full nodes getting paid might be quite good if it can be trust minimized. The flack I get is mainly nocoiners, Ethereum, & Tezos people and when these pathological yet popular "governance" philosophies invade Bitcoin threads.

Yes. Paid full nodes are great if it does not reduce security in PoW, because then you need to add some tricks (like chainlocks in dash) to overcome that problem. But I was referring to the formal decision making process in DASH which introduces new attack vectors.pic.twitter.com/iCLtgzDSiB

Seems to me that this makes LN all the more exciting bc there are potentially many ways for nodes to be paid & more nodes are likely to be active in the process
