This might be considered a home invasion that we could defend ourselves and private property against with deadly force, and it would probably hold up in court... I’ll have to ask my friend who works in a criminal defense law office...
That's a big part of why we have a 4th Amendment, so that police don't put themselves, the people they want to search, and bystanders in unnecessary danger in a country that has the 2nd Amendment.
