I agree with @jeremyrwelch Some things could end bitcoin.
1. Global thermal nuclear war. ( although @NickSzabo4 disagrees)
2. Giant meteor which destroys all life on earth. (my only concern)

They already do. And devs constantly think about attack vectors, even more importantly.
They already do but more is even better. Twitter isn't usually where such thought is found, though.
