$BTC devotee and student of Austrian school here; trying to learn, broaden perspective, embrace a prosperous future. I can tell you this, though: Libertarians, as a general rule, neither listen to nor identify with Dem or Prog thoughts or values. Cheers! -
Exceptions to that general rule are the many think tanker "libertarians" who frequently go to parties with leftists in DC, spending many hours talking to them, dating them, and desiring not to be shunned by them -- a fate impossible to avoid if you are actually libertarian.

Fair enough; you may know DC and think-tanks better than I. Meanwhile, Austin is a great town. My sis lives there. It's also one of the only liberal-ish oases in Texas.
